As restrictions have eased across Lithuania, the government has stepped up support schemes for businesses and residents.
Across multiple phases, the government has rolled out support measures with direct funding for the nation’s healthcare sector, financial assistance for individuals and self-employed, and extended loan financing and loan guarantees for Small and Medium-Sized enterprises.
The Lithuanian government has also developed a business support fund to aid in liquidity for medium and large companies, along with a new rental subsidy scheme. The latter program would subsidize up to 50 percent of rent if the property manager is agreeable to a discount of at least 30 percent. More details on this rent subsidy scheme is available via the Ministry of Economy and Innovation announcement online.
