Leveraging funding from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) launched the “We’re All in Small Business Grant Program.”

This new program will provide $2,500 grants to 30,000 small business across the Badger State. Grant funds are to support with costs of business interruption, health and safety improvements, wages and salaries, rent, mortgages, and inventory.

Eligible businesses for the grant program must meet the following requirements:

– be a Wisconsin-based, for-profit business;

– employ 20 or fewer full-time equivalent (FTE) employees, including the owner;

– earn greater than $0 but less than $1 million in annual revenues (gross sales and receipts); and,

– have started operating prior to Jan. 1, 2020, and have been in business as of Feb. 2020.

The application period for the program is for only week: Monday, June 15th through Tuesday, June 23rd. Applications will be accepted online. To learn more about the program and submit an application, visit the official WEDC’s We’re All in Small Business Grant Program website.
